Woman Punched In The Face At Dog Park

Police west of Edmonton say they are looking for a man who is believed to have punched a woman in the face and kicked her dog at a dog park last week.

Spruce Grove/Stony Plain RCMP said that a woman was taking her dog for a walk at the off-least Marlboro Dog Park in Spruce Grove last Friday, when she was approached by a man who was unhappy about her dog playing with his animals' toys.

According to police, the man kicked her dog and started yelling in her face.

"He ended up punching her in the face, and then running away with his dogs," police said in a release.

Police said the suspect had his girlfriend with him, who attempted to apologize to the victim before leaving.

The male is described as about 6'2" and very muscular, with a shaved head. He is believed to be in his mid-to late-30's, and wearing blue jeans and a sweater.

His girlfriend has bleached blond hair, is about 5’2” tall and was wearing a grey cardigan and tank top.

The couple's three dogs are described as a yellow Labrador and two Dachshunds.
