"My mom raised me to be kind to others," Justin Bieber tweeted Wednesday in a series of tweets rebutting accusations of attempted robbery at an L.A. batting cage for trying to take a phone from a woman allegedly snapping pics. "I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn't easy. But we keep trying."
He also tweeted out a TMZ story with the headline "Exclusive: Justin Bieber Accuser -- Busted.. By Bat Girl." However, he's probably less pleased with another TMZ story that has a video of Bieber calling another woman a "bitch" earlier that same day.
Melinda Giel-Murray was on her horse at the Circle K Stables in Burbank, California when Bieber and his inner circle arrived to go horseback riding. Giel-Murray told the publication she took out her camera but when she did Bieber didn't take kindly to it. A 17-second video clip (above) begins with Bieber saying, "that bitch right there" pointing to to Giel-Murray. She also said four security guards then tried to "intimidate her" but she refused to back down, stating it wasn't illegal to take photographs.
In related news, Bieber's next court date in Toronto for his assault case is slated for May 26. CTV News reports a routine appearance on Monday (May 12) Bieber's lawyer appearing on Bieber's behalf where the May 26 date was set. The lawyer said Bieber most likely would not be attending the May 26 date and would only appear in court until a trial date. The trial date probably won't be set until autumn.
