A woman is recovering in an Edmonton hospital after she was forced into a burning vehicle during a terrifying carjacking northwest of the city.
According to RCMP, the woman was getting into her vehicle in Fox Creek last Thursday morning when two men approached her with a knife and forced their way into her vehicle.
The two men drove the woman out of town, stopping to set the vehicle on fire before pushing the woman back inside and fleeing the scene.
Police say the woman suffered second and third degree burns and was taken to the Fox Creek hospital before being transferred to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
Police are looking for two Caucasian males in their early 20s, both wearing hoodies, one of which was green.
The males are about 5β8β tall and were picked up by a black Dodge when they left the victim stranded roadside.
