John Travolta Sported The Tiniest Beard In The World At Cannes 2014

Forget Aishwarya Rai and Kristen Stewart—John Travolta's beard was the real star of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

The "Hairspray" actor attended the amfAR gala last week with wife Kelly Preston and sported a baffling mini-beard that looked as if he had dipped his chin in fuzzy ink.

We have to wonder: why did this happen? What did Kelly think? Are tiny beards a thing now? Is he growing it out for a movie role? Did he name it?

This isn't the first time the 60-year-old has worn this hairstyle. Travolta has been spotted (in public!) sporting the odd facial hair at several events, meaning it's officially his favourite hairstyle.
