Fast Food Ads vs. Reality Show How Willing We Are To Eat Ugly Food (VIDEO)

What Does It Take To Make Your Fast Food Look Like An Ad?

If you look online, you can easily find plenty of examples showing you just how different the fast food you order at a restaurant is from the advertisements that get you ordering it in the first place. But in the video above by Mediocre Films (they should really give themselves more credit), it seems it's not quite as hard to get exactly what you want.

While recent articles have pointed out that ads use everything from hairspray to soaked tampons to make a dish look more appetizing, in the real world, it looks like all you have to do is ask for a nicer version.

And then, of course, there's the very valid point made by one of the Wendy's workers filmed in the clip: most people are too hungry to spend a lot of time comparing their meal to the ads.

What do you think? Do you get disappointed when your fast food doesn't look like the pictures, or do eat it too quickly to care?
