If it feels dark and grey and gloomy in Vancouver sometimes, it might be because our fair home has another identity: Gotham City. Well, at least for Tim Burton.
A photo posted to Imgur shows a screen shot from the 1989 "Batman" movie, directed by Burton, which focuses on a map of the crime-riddled city.
If you look closely, you'll notice that the map they use for the decrepit Gotham City is actually our beloved Vancouver:

Burton's version of "Batman" celebrated its 25th anniversary this week. Forbes writer Scott Mendelson called it "the template for the modern blockbuster."
