Who's Stealing All The Statues In Edmonton?
CP

St. Albert RCMP are looking for the crook who waddled away with a large penguin statue over the weekend.

The "Three Penguins" statue usually lives at the entrance of the Smart Centres shopping centre on Villenuve Road, but it disappeared between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

According to police, the statue is valued between $2,000 and $3,000.

The Edmonton Journal reports the statue's disappearance follows several others in the Edmonton area over the past two weeks.

On June 25, a large newsboy statue was taken from outside an antique store in Edmonton. Several days earlier a number of statues went missing from a mini golf operation in Gull Lake.
