Astronaut Reid Wiseman Captures Auroras From The ISS (VIDEO)

WATCH: Astronaut Films Spectacular Auroras From The ISS

Many of us have seen auroras from below, but who can count themselves among the lucky who've seen them from above?

Now you can, thanks to Cmdr. Reid Wiseman.

The U.S. astronaut is currently serving aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and has been active on social media during his time above Earth.

Wiseman has posted many stunning images on his Twitter account, but his video of aurora australis, the southern version of the northern lights, certainly ranks among the best.

And that wasn't the only spectacular shot of the auroras Wiseman shared on the social network on Tuesday. He also posted this beauty.

Will we see a rendition of "Space Oddity" in this astronaut's future?
