Robert Plant Previews New Album 'Lullaby And... The Ceaseless Roar' (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: Robert Plant Previews His New Album

Led Zeppelin may have won their very first Grammy earlier this year, for the live album of their 2007 reunion show, but Robert Plant is looking forward, not backward, as he preps the release of his 10th solo album "Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar"

The album, due out Sept 9 on Nonesuch/Warner Bros, is his first with new band The Sensational Space Shifters who will joining Plant on tour this fall.

"It's really a celebratory record, powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep," Plant has said, and now in this exclusive video preview we get to hear a bit more from the record while the singer explains its influences, including his sojourn in the American south and his migration back to the verdant, rolling hills of his English homeland along the Welsh border.

"I've been away along time from these borders. I've been away from them even when i was in them. I think to return to the peace and the connection with so much that I'd forgotten gives a lot of power to my days."
