St. Hubert Plane Crash Video Shows Victim Being Pulled From Wreckage

WATCH: Plane Crash Video Shows Victim Pulled From Wreckage

It was a shocking sight for residents of a neighbourhood in St. Hubert, Quebec.

A young girl flying a single-engine Cessna plane crashed into a backyard on Saturday, right beside a resident's pool.

Eyewitness video shows men spraying down the crumpled plane with water as another person pulls the pilot from the wreckage and helps lay her on the ground. She has blood on her face but appears to be conscious. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, The Canadian Press reported.

Instructors at a nearby flight school had deemed the 17-year-old pilot fit to fly by herself, according to CBC. It was her fourth solo flight.

Though this seems young, aspiring pilots in Canada can actually receive a student permit to fly alone by age 14.
