The Wall Street Journal's Facebook page posted a piece of 'news' early Sunday that appeared to fool no one.

A fake report about the potential crash of U.S. Air Force One, which usually refers to an aircraft carrying the president, was posted to the news outlet's Facebook page and quickly questioned by users.

The WSJ acknowledged their page had been hacked in a message sent out Sunday morning. It's unclear who was responsible for the post.

The post brings to mind a fake tweet sent out from The Associated Press' Twitter account last year that said two explosions at the White House had injured U.S. President Barack Obama. A group called the Syrian Electronic Army claimed responsibility.
