Bar Brutus, All-Bacon Restaurant In Montreal, To Open Soon (PHOTOS)

All-Bacon Resto To Open In Montreal

In Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar," the Roman general cries out, "Et tu, Brute?" at the moment of his assassination.

You may find yourself uttering a similar phrase at Bar Brutus, an all-bacon restaurant soon to open in Montreal, where your waistline is sure to betray you.

The restaurant is the brainchild of Anthoni Jodoin, the owner of Nacho Libre in Montreal's Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie area.

His vision for the new place, which will be located close by, is to create a hangout for Canadians that's based on classic barber shops, he told ABC News.

"We wanted to make it approachable and friendly, but with a classy and refined vibe," Jodoin said.

"We figured by adding bacon, everyone is happy."

While the restaurant has yet to firm up an opening date (it's still waiting on a liquor license), Bar Brutus already has social media users salivating at its menu.

Among its offerings will a "Hot Pig," which the restaurant calls "quite possibly the world's first-ever 100 per cent bacon sausage."

There are also sweet items such as bacon bit and caramel donuts.

Additionally, the restaurant will be the only one in Quebec to carry vodka that's been infused with bacon.

Here are some more offerings we can expect when Bar Brutus opens its doors. That day just can't come fast enough.

It has chicken confit, dates, celery, maple syrup and Dijon mustard.

It's packed with bacon, Italian sausage, pepperoni and onions.

Fries covered with red caramelized onions, cheese and Jägermeister sauce. Served in half a Jägermeister bottle.

Cajun chicken, five slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato and homemade mayonnaise.

It's like the Caesar salad. But it can be served in ...

This.

With homemade mac 'n' cheese.

Garnished with a bacon rose.

Bacon, old cheddar cheese, caramelized onions with a side of tomato soup.

There are two beef patties, two slices of old cheddar cheese, five (!) slices of bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato and secret sauce. Also, fries.

They give you wings!

They don't JUST have bacon on the menu.

Chocolate chip and bacon cookies.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story stated that the bacon-wrapped sushi had duck confit. It does, in fact, have chicken confit. Also, the KD Balls do not use Kraft Dinner, but homemade mac 'n' cheese.
