Halloween and the Toronto mayoral election are just days apart this year, so it's about time a Rob Ford mask hit the market.
A latex visage of the controversial politician has become the top-selling mask at the city's Amazing Party and Costume store, The Toronto Sun reported on Thursday.
"We wanted to get these masks because he has become world-famous now," owner Shawn Hamilton told the newspaper.
At $26.99, the mask is outselling those of other political figures such as Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. Hamilton said many people have come to the store looking to wear Rob Ford's face in pub crawls.
It has sold well enough that Amazing Party and Costume has had to order more to keep up with demand.
The store has been pushing the mask hard since early June, when it posted this photo on Twitter and asked users to share their own.
Instagram user daggadiez posted this photo of the mask earlier this week:
The Toronto municipal election falls on Oct. 27.
