LeAnn Rimes' Rape Joke About Losing Her Virginity Fails To Impress (VIDEO)

►LeAnn Rimes' Jokes About Rape Did Not Go Over Well

LeAnn Rimes has landed herself in hot water after making not one, but two rape jokes earlier this week.

The country musician made the jokes during a guest appearance on Joan Rivers' web series "In Bed With Joan." Joined by her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, Rimes made the controversial statements after Rivers offered the couple some drinks.

Rimes switched glasses with her husband, explaining to viewers that she thought "this one might be roofied." As the interview went on Rivers started questioning Rimes about her the first time she had sex.

"I was in Monte Carlo and I was 15? I know, it's kind of a bulls**t story. I was 16. There you go." You can watch Rimes make the comments in the video below:

As Rivers pressed on for more details, Rimes delivered.

"Well, he was my boyfriend for like three-and-a-half years. He was fine. I think I raped him. I think that's how it happened," said the country and pop star. On Twitter, the backlash was swift with users reminding Rimes out that rape is never a laughing matter.

As of Thursday afternoon, Rimes has yet to apologize for the jokes. This isn't the first time the singer has stirred up controversy. The two-time Grammy winner drew criticism for starting an affair with Cibrian in 2009 back when he was still married with actress Brandi Glanville and she was married to backup dancer Dean Sheremet.
