Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Doesn't Contain Actual Pumpkin

Last week, we reported on the early return of Starbucks' cult favourite drink, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. But not everyone is happy about the comeback. In fact, one food blogger is urging fans to "ditch the Starbucks," claiming the PSL's ingredients are unhealthy -- and the drink doesn't include pumpkin at all.

After an exhaustive search for a full ingredients list involving contacting Starbucks public relations managers and baristas, Vani Hari of the popular food blog Food Babe found that the PSL contains absolutely no pumpkin in it. Starbucks representative Linda Mills confirmed the claim to Business Insider, noting that the drink using "the core spices that flavour pumpkin pie, such as cinnamon, nutmeg and clove."
