We may not know how much sugar we're eating on a daily basis, but we can all agree it's probably not a healthy amount.
On Tuesday, the Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) released a statement reporting Canadians are adding too much sugar to their diets. Most significantly, they attributed this habit to putting them at risk of stroke.
Previously, the World Health Organization said the average adult (in any country) should be eating no more than 25 grams (or six teaspoons) of sugar every day. What does six teaspoons of sugar look like? Think one Hershey's milk chocolate bar.

And yes, if you were wondering, Canada is actually not on the list -- but this doesn't mean we don't have to watch our sugar intake.
