Two bull moose locked horns in a furious fight that was captured on video in Alberta's Peter Lougheed Provincial Park last Saturday.
Tawny Tersmette was on her way to a hike on Mount Fortress when she spotted the moose butting heads on the side of the highway, The Toronto Sun reported.
The fight lasted just over 20 minutes before the moose with the smaller rack ran off into the forest, she told the newspaper.
They battled in the midst of breeding season, which takes place in September and early October, a time in which males tend to challenge their rivals, according to Hunt Alberta.
We can only speculate about what came between these two, but it's fair to say the one with the bigger rack was brooking no bull.
