Milan Lucic's Sexual Gesture To Montreal Fans Draws $5,000 Fine (VIDEO)

One More Reason For Habs Fans To Hate Milan Lucic

There's bad blood between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins and Milan Lucic is bringing it to a boiling point.

The NHL fined the Bruins tough guy $5,000 for taunting Habs fans with a lewd gesture in the penalty box on Thursday night, reported The Globe and Mail.

Lucic appeared to stroke himself and lift an invisible Stanley Cup after taking a penalty for driving Montreal defenceman Alexei Emelin into the boards.

Here's the gesture in question:

The move came during Montreal's home opener and Lucic and Emelin were at each other throughout the game, according to The Associated Press.

Emelin took down the big forward with a check early on before Lucic slammed the Russian into the boards in the third period.

The game marked the first time the teams have met since the Habs dumped the Bruins in last year's playoffs.

Lucic was no less friendly in that May 14 game; he appeared to taunt both Emelin and Dale Weise as the teams shook hands following their second-round series.

TSN analyst Aaron Ward quoted Lucic telling Weise, "I'm going to bleepin' kill you next year," but neither player confirmed what was actually said at the time.

Clearly, this rivalry is only heating up.
