This may go down as greatest response to a dive in the history of the beautiful game.

Toronto FC may have missed the playoffs yet again, but goalie Joe Bendik did them proud Saturday in a 1-1 loss to the Montreal Impact.

Late in extra time, with Toronto desperately in need of a goal to keep any hope of advancing to post-season play alive, Montreal's Brazilian star Felipe Martins went down with a questionable injury. When Toronto's Jonathan Osorio was handed a red card for the tackle, Bendik went ballistic.

Then he did this.

Amazing how a little lift will clear that leg pain right up.

Bendik got a yellow card for his act of healing, but somehow we doubt he regrets it much.
