More than two years worth of polling data from Forum Research paints a telling portrait of the Toronto mayoral campaign.
Polls weighing the odds for the three candidates were being carried out well before any of them officially entered the race. And they show Olivia Chow maintained a strong lead until the spring of this year. Forum's numbers show a steep drop for Chow over the summer months, and big gains for John Tory as he outpaced the former frontrunner. She ended up coming in third on election night after a hard-fought campaign.
