We're halfway through Toronto Fashion Week!
Wednesday March 25 marked the third day of World MasterCard Fashion Week, and it brought plenty of fabulous frocks to wear for fall/winter 2015.
Atelier Wonder opened day three with a cosmic-inspired collection that was out of this world (don't mind the pun). Triarchy followed with a complete change in mood, sending models out in a camp-style collection featuring custom patches and decals. Bonfire, anyone?
Malorie Urbanovitch proved that socks and sandals can look cool with a collection that drew upon Moroccan landscapes and crafts, and Klaxon Howl showed menswear can be equally as sexy on women as it is on men (also, we give him kudos for sending a model down the runway wearing his turban).
The most fun show of the night went to Hayley Elsaesser who drifted away from the typical dark hues for fall, and instead offered bold, colourful and loud prints (snake print is our new snake skin, just saying). The designer also wins for best soundtrack, playing some groovy tunes while models of all shapes and sizes (yes, diversity!) strutted their stuff down the runway. We're calling it -- Elsaesser's show will be taking the place of Joe Fresh and Target's dynamic runways.
Finally, Mackage closed the show with a sexy collection filled with leather, fringe, and fur. Guys, sexy snow pants do exist, and they can be found at the Montreal-based fashion house. Also, we want all of their handbags, please.
