BuzzBuzzHome: The corner of Yonge and Bloor will soon give Toronto's Financial District a run for its money when it comes to building height. The major intersection is undergoing jaw-dropping changes with new structures aiming for heights that exceed even the tallest bank towers.

If the City of Toronto greenlights the design, The One would not just be the tallest in Toronto, but the tallest skyscraper in all of Canada.

A majority of the buildings are newcomers (only two have already been built) and most are residential.
