Flames Fan Shamed On Facebook For Atrocious Playoff Game Behaviour

"A disgrace to the city of Calgary, province of Alberta, and to Canada..."

It's an important reminder to sports fans to keep it classy, no matter how well or poorly your team may be doing.

Julie Bergeson saw a despicable, unsportsman-like gesture at Saturday's Flames versus Canucks game at the Saddledome, and took to her Facebook page to call out the act.

Her post, which has been shared more than 3,000 times as of Monday afternoon, recalls seeing a Flames fan douse a Canucks fan in beer and popcorn after the Flames pulled ahead to a 5-4 lead late in the game.

"You are a disgrace," Bergeson wrote. "A disgrace to the city of Calgary, province of Alberta, and to Canada, to the sport of hockey and I would imagine any sport you take an interest in."

She goes on to mention how the terrible fan behaviour left her daughter confused and likely ruined the Canucks fan's evening.

"If this happens to find it's way to you I have some advice for you, stay home and watch on tv if you can't be a responsible citizen in public."
