Calgary Robber Makes Off On Pair Of Roller Skates

Calgary police are on the hunt for a disco-inspired robber who made his getaway on a pair of 1970's-style roller skates.

Police say the hatchet-wielding man rolled into a 7-Eleven in the 3300 block of 64 Street N.E., wearing a black ski mask, red jumpsuit, gloves and roller skates just before midnight Sunday.

The man, who police describe as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, made off with some cash and cigarettes.
