Just because it's frozen doesn't mean it lasts forever.

While freezing foods stops the growth of bacteria, it also slowly diminishes quality and flavour. And that's only if you package your food correctly.
According to Health Canada, thousands of Canadians get food poisoning every year and food storage is often to blame.
For the freshest flavour, Eat Right Ontario suggests cooling your food before freezing, keeping the temperature at a chilly -18ºC, and most importantly, following the first in, first out rule every time (making sure to use the oldest ingredients first).
