Supermodels ain't got nothing on Cher.
The 69-year-old diva is the new face of Marc Jacobs and the first image is amazing. Seriously, we can't even deal. If we could turn back time, we'd feature Cher in every one of the designer's campaigns.
In the shot, which was photographed by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, the "Believe" singer is seen sitting on a chair while dressed in a Morticia-esque black pleated maxi dress, with a matching jacket and a pair of leather gloves. Her long black locks are brushed out on the bottom adding some serious volume.
Marc Jacobs shared the snap with followers on Instagram Wednesday morning.
Earlier this month, the fashion icon walked the Met Gala red carpet with the American designer, which was perhaps the duo's way of telling us a collab was in the works. (How did we not see it coming?!)
The icon replaces the troop of models (including Kendall Jenner and Adriana Lima) featured in Jacobs' last campaign. She's also the latest in a slew of famous women over 50 being cast in designer campaigns (read: Joan Didion for Celine, Joni Mitchell for Saint Laurent and of course, Jessica Lange for Marc Jacobs Beauty).
We can't wait to see who else appears in the new ads!
