In a recent infographic on Visua.ly, the site offers a cheatsheet about everything you need to know: from types of anxiety to symptoms to what to do if you show any of the signs.
Anxiety is not a North American or first world problem either. According to the graphic, anxiety disorders are among the top 10 reasons for disability in regions across the world except for East Asia and East Europe. In Canada, 12 per cent of Canadians will suffer from an anxiety disorder at any given time of the year, notes the Anxiety Disorders Association of Canada.
However, it is also important to note that anxiety can be quite common for everyone and sometimes, even healthy for you, reports Medical Daily. But when your anxiety becomes unhealthy or unavoidable, speak with your doctor for further options.
