While it's easy to get mad at Canada Day for landing smack in the middle of the week this year, that doesn't mean you shouldn't celebrate our wonderful country's 148th birthday anyway. In fact, we'd argue it gives you all the more reason to make that Wednesday, July 1 a day of full-fledged red and white celebrations.
Now, it's easy enough to throw on the appropriate red and white clothing (in addition to all things with a Roots or the Bay logo), find some fireworks and call it a day, but if you want to make a real splash, try out some of these ideas below.
We've gathered up delicious foods, centrepieces and even photo booth props to make this year's Canada Day party just a little more memorable — and you can easily reuse them again and again for the years to come.
