Heathrow Airport Releases Report Revealing Most Popular Lipstick Shades Worldwide

What's your city's most popular lipstick shade?

The perfect shade of lipstick can transform your look and boost your confidence in a single swipe. But what does your favourite shade say about you?

Well, according to a report released by Heathrow Airport, it may just give a clue as to which city you're from. The London-based airport, which boasts Europe's largest range of beauty products under one roof, teamed up with World Duty Free to find out which shade of lipstick is purchased most often in 50 of the world's most stylish destinations.

The"International Lipstick Colours Of The Year Report" revealed that New Yorkers are rocking a classic red, Londoners a caramel nude, and Parisians a dusky rose. And in Montreal? They fancy a tea pink.

To celebrate the release of the report, Heathrow brought on British micro-artist Hedley Wiggan to carve five iconic landmarks into regular-sized lipstick tubes, including London's Big Ben, Paris's Eiffel Tower, Shanghai's Tower, Dubai's Burj Khalifa, and New York City's Statue of Liberty.

The mini-statues will be on display at Terminal 5 for the next month and will then be made available to the public, according to The Independent. You can watch Wiggans transform a tube of Paris's beloved dusky rose into the Eiffel Tower in the video above.

The report also includes a brief history of lipstick, as well as tips for mastering the perfect lip. You can check out the full report here.
