Man Seeking Peterborough Woman He Met At Way Home In 'Cinderella' Story

Man Looking For His Peterborough 'Cinderella' From Way Home Festival

The three-day WayHome Music and Arts festival in Oro-Medonte, Ont., last weekend was an incredible success — with great crowds watching the likes of Neil Young, Kendrick Lamar, Broken Social Scene and Sam Smith perform.

As with many festivals of its kind, friendships between total strangers were formed and bonds were made. And between some, sparks flew.

Apparently a Peterborough woman made quite the impression on a man she met. Taking a shot in the dark, this man — John Almeida — began looking for his "Cinderella" after the festival.

The criteria? She is a doctor and from Peterborough. It doesn't appear that he knows her name.

Here's a message he sent to Dr. Brenda Tapp, ND, a naturopath in Peterborough, hoping she was the one.

CBC Radio Ontario is helping get the word out too:

Unfortunately, the glass slipper didn't belong to that woman he contacted, but it did start spreading the word. Keep searching, sweet prince.
