A heartwarming video put out by the Calgary Humane Society last week is an excellent reminder that every shelter animal deserves a forever home.
Fluffy, a four-year-old Presa Canario, had spent more than 100 days at the shelter after being surrendered in early June by his owner.
A big guy, who faced some mobility issues due to a twisted front leg, Fluffy was having a hard time being adopted out.
"We was definitely one of our longer residents," Humane Society spokeswoman Sage Pullen McIntosh told the Huffington Post Alberta.
In fact, adoption staff felt so strongly about finding Fluffy the right family, they started a campaign to showcase the multitude of activities for which Fluffy would make the perfect companion:
The excellent news is that their hard work paid off and Fluffy found his forever family. Watch the Humane Society staff give Fluffy the send-off he deserves:
Congrats, Fluffy! Have fun with your new family!
