Watermelon Skinning Is Exactly What It Sounds Like

09/03/2015 11:22 EDT | Updated 09/03/2015 11:59 EDT

There are certain fruits out there that just work better with their outer shell intact, and for the longest time, watermelon has always been in this category.

Now one YouTube user has done something quite different — in fact, something quite unwatermelon-like.

In a video that is now viral, user Mark Rober shares his ultimate party trick that involves peeling an entire watermelon, hollowing out another one for its outer shell, and stuffing the peeled one inside two hollow shells. Sound confusing and a bit terrifying? It's a lot easier than it looks — even if this watermelon looks incredibly naked.

And while summer is wrapping up and watermelon is the ultimate summer fruit, this trick may just be a game changer during your Labour Day BBQ this weekend.
