VANCOUVER — Several homes have been destroyed by a fire at a co-op complex in Pitt Meadows, B.C.

Fire crews were called to the townhouse complex on 119th Avenue around 7 p.m. yesterday.

Five units have been completely destroyed.

Fire Chief Don Jolley says crews are now trying to determine how the blaze began.

He says there are "a great many rumours" about what sparked the fire.
