The Toronto Blue Jays have won their first title in 22 years — and they slaughtered their opponents in the process.
The Jays clinched the American League East (AL East) division title with a 15-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Wednesday.
The misery was just beginning for Baltimore, as the massive loss was just the first half of a double-header that wraps later.
Social media users went wild for the Jays, a team that hasn't seen playoff action since they last won the World Series in 1993. The #ComeTogether tag was trending on Twitter within minutes of the victory.
