Riding the bench is a tough gig in baseball. It requires long hours of sitting and watching better players take the field.

Texas' Derek Holland has taken a seat so often, that he's sure to have a splinter or two left on his posterior.

The move was a huge insult to Jays fans, who had to suffer as the Rangers beat them to take a 2-0 lead in the American League Division Series.

But, for fans, this moment from Texas' Prince Fielder made things a little better.

It was a chippy game that saw a heated exchange between Jays hitter Josh Donaldson and Texas pitcher Keone Kela.

In the end, this tweet summed up the disappointing loss for Jays fans:

The Jays-faithful were razzed by other cities ...

But at least one Toronto club pulled through with this response.

OK, NOW let's play ball!
