Saskatoon Weekend Overdoses Prompt Warning

Paramedics responded to three calls in 18 hours.

After three drug overdoses on the weekend, Saskatoon paramedics are using Facebook to warn the public.

"Using narcotics for recreational pleasure could cost you your life," MD Ambulance Care wrote on Saturday.

Over the course of 18 hours, paramedics responded to three narcotic respiratory arrest calls in Saskatoon — twice for the same patient.

"Patients are now in stable condition however the outcome could have been deadly if not for bystanders calling 911," the post said.
