Chanel's Vampy Holiday 2015 Beauty Collection Is Based Around Its Iconic 'Rouge Noir'

I'll never forget the day I bought my first Chanel nail polish.

As my excited 15-year-old self walked up to the luxe counter with my mother, I knew exactly what colour I wanted: a dark, moody polish called Rouge Noir.

Since its launch in 1995, the dark cherry polish, which is a non-shimmery take on the original polish, "Vamp" has become one of Chanel's cult shades, with Uma Thurman donning the shade in "Pulp Fiction" and Madonna wearing it in her "Take a Bow" music video. (Rumour has it that Madge herself called up Karl Lagerfeld's office to request samples after seeing it on the Chanel spring/summer 1995 runway.)

Now for the polish's 20th anniversary, Chanel is paying tribute to the iconic shade by reincarnating it for its holiday 2015 beauty collection.

Called Vamp Attitude, the collection features everything from moody lipsticks to a shimmering mascara and of course, the polish itself, all based on the blood-red hue. Two new iterations of the shade, a gold-flake top coat called Le Top Coat Lamé and a silver-version called Le Vernis Rose Fusion, are also included.

And the timing of this release couldn't be more perfect -- with '90s trends (especially in beauty) coming back in full force, this collection brings back a whole lot of nostalgia, while offering some new, fresh takes on a makeup classic.

But like any limited-edition collection (especially of this variety), it's bound to fly off shelves -- so get yours while you can!

The Chanel Vamp Attitude collection is available at Chanel counters nationwide.
