Designer and Former Joe Boxer chief Nick Graham is teaming up with Bill Nye the Science Guy on a tie collection, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Graham approached the beloved science education TV host about the collection due to Nye's long-standing affinity for ties. "He is Mr. Bow Tie and is probably the most visible person in the world who wears bow ties," Graham said.

The ties, which Nye helped design, will include such patterns as the periodic table and Nye's head, as well as more classic looks like polka dots and stripes.

The Nick Graham x Bill Nye collection has now been released, with ties retailing at $49.50. WWD reports that ten per cent of the proceeds will go to the Planetary Society, a nonprofit organization by Nye which Graham says looks for life on other planets. The ties can be found on Graham's website, nickgraham.com, as well as in locations like the gift shop in the American Museum of Natural History.

The collection comes as Nye releases his new book, "Unstoppable," about climate change.
