Gerber stars in an avant-garde beauty editorial for the December/January issue of Teen Vogue and we can only describe it with one word: perfection. The spread, which was photographed by Jason Kibbler and styled by Zara Zachrisson, features images of the up-and-coming model like we've never seen her before.
Take a look for yourself:
Kaia's elaborate hairstyles, done by Kevin Ryan using UNITE, consists of tousled waves, statement brooches in messy buns and oh-so-artsy textured fishtail braids. The 'do goes perfectly with the California girl's Gucci, Valentino and Chanel frocks.
As for the makeup, which was created by Maki Ryoke for MAC, Kaia flaunts a cat eye and naturally, a fierce brow (which, of course, is passed down from her momma).
"My mom does [my eyebrows] because I know I would go tweezer-crazy and wind up with no eyebrows at all," she tells the glossy. "I love the look of full brows that aren’t perfectly done—eyebrows on fleek, that’s the goal."
In the issue, Gerber also spills on her love of blue eyeshadow, her simple makeup routine and of course, the desire to follow in her mother's footsteps as modelling royalty.
"As I got old, I realized more and more that I wanted to get into the world of modeling," Gerber admits. "She taught me to have a thought behind every single post. That way, when you look at the photos afterwards, it feels deeper than just staring at a blank face."
We say, Cindy taught her well! Check out the rest of the editorial shoot over on teenvogue.com.
