If you're in constant need of a gut check on why you feel bloated after a meal, you're not alone.
In fact, it's one of the most popular topics nutritionist and author Julie Daniluk faces during her lectures.
"The number one thing I get asked at my lectures is, ‘Julie, I start my day with a flat stomach and by 2 p.m., I look pregnant. What can I do?’" says Daniluk.
Well, in the video above, the author of Meals That Heal Inflammation makes a few suggestions on what to cut out and key ingredients to add to your diet if you're looking to minimize belly bloat.
The idea is to reduce the amount of gas in your tummy following a meal, according to the Mayo Clinic. And while you are what you eat, nutritionists suggest how fast or how often you scarf down that big bowl of spaghetti can play a hand in a bloated belly.
But it's not all about the food either.
Even simple changes like chewing slower or not swallowing gulps of air while eating also helps. For more transformative tips of how food can change your life, check out 2 Minutes To Transform.
