Before presenting Chanel's annual Metiers d'Art show, which saw the historic Cinecittà film studio in Rome transform in the magical streets of Paris, Karl Lagerfeld premiered his new short film, "Once and Forever," starring one of his most famous muses, Kristen Stewart.
For the occasion, the "Twilight" actress looked radiant as ever, sporting a brand new long 'do. Ditching her usual tomboy get up, Stewart wore a Chanel look that was originally worn on the spring 2016 runway by Kendall Jenner. The two-piece suit, which included a embellished jacket and leather trouser, was accompanied by a slick, long side ponytail that we're totally obsessed with.
When it came to her makeup, the actress donned a smoky cat eye and subtle lip gloss.
As for Stewart's newest film, the flick tells the story of Stewart and legendary actress Geraldine Chaplin as actresses preparing to star in a film as Gabrielle Chanel at different ages. Shot in Paris, the 25-year-old portrays Irys Duke, a stubborn young actress who butts heads with the handsome director (played by Jérémie Elkaïm) of the Coco Chanel biopic about the designer's life.
In the 11-minute film, we see Kristen transform from young, indie chick wearing a hoodie, white tee and layered necklaces into that of Coco, donning vintage Chanel dresses from 1919 and 1930.
Of her performance, Karl Lagerfeld told WWD KStew is "One of the greatest actors of her generation. She gives the right emotion and the right intensity immediately so it’s very easy to work her."
