Russell Crowe has slammed Virgin Australia after his children were told they could not check their hoverboards on to the aircraft.

Virgin Australia isn't the only airline to ban the scooters. According to CBC, Air Canada, WestJet and three big U.S. airlines have also banned all hoverboards from both carry-on and checked luggage for safety reasons.
