Ronda Rousey is set to appear in Sports Illustrated's 2016 Swimsuit Issue wearing nothing but body paint.
Rumours were swirling that the 28-year-old American MMA fighter would appear in the annual issue for the second year in a row after SI editor, MJ Day, posted an unidentified teaser photo on Instagram, which featured a woman bearing the same wrist tattoos as Rousey.
The glossy confirmed the news in a tweet on Thursday, along with another sneak peek photo of "Rowdy" with a "swimsuit" painted onto her body:
The UFC star posted a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram, captioning the photo, "Secret's out — so here's a free preview of this year's 2016 SI swimsuit issue."
According to SI, the reason for the sneak preview is because "some eager paparazzi" managed to get "a few early snaps" of Rousey during her shoot.
"That means Christmas is coming again, folks!" the outlet writes, sharing a few behind-the-scenes shots to "tide you over" until the official images hit newsstands next month (you can check them out here).
This marks Rousey's first magazine shoot since she lost UFC 193 and the Women's Bantamweight championship title to Holly Holm in November.
