Taraji P. Henson Mixes Up Coldplay And Maroon 5 At Super Bowl 50, Adam Levine Responds

"YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!! #maroon5 is life to me!!!"

Taraji P. Henson is a big Maroon 5 fan. So much so that she thought the band she was watching headline the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Sunday was Maroon 5, not Coldplay, the actual peformers.

The Golden Globe winner — who was watching the big game live at Levi's Stadium — took to her Instagram page to share her excitement about the group's high-profile performance:

In a now-deleted post, Henson snapped a photograph of Coldplay's opening medley and shared it with the caption, "YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!! #maroon5 is life to me!!! #superbowl50 #HappyCamper I am."

The "Empire" actress later removed the photo but addressed her faux-pas on Twitter, writing:

This didn't stop Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine from weighing in, though. The "Animals" singer commented on Henson's mix-up by posting a screengrab of her mistake, accompanied by a one-word caption, "THIS."

THIS.

Henson's error was also referenced by wireless carrier T-Mobile, who compared it to Steve Harvey's Miss Universe misunderstanding:

But Henson quickly brushed it off, and shared a selfie with fellow spectators January Jones and Amy Adams, who appeared to be loving their time at the Super Bowl.
