Yolanda Hadid Responds To Rebecca Romijn's Comments About Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner

Or else Yolanda Hadid will come after you.

If you're gonna throw shade at Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, know that Gigi's mother, Yolanda Hadid, will be quick to defend her supermodel daughter and her bestie.

On Friday, the 52-year-old "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star took to Twitter to respond to Rebecca Romijn's comments about Gigi and Kendall.

Romijn, a former fashion model, told Entertainment Tonight that "a lot of people — legitimate fashion people — can't stand" that "social media stars [such as Kendall and Gigi] are now supermodels in fashion."

Rebecca Romijn.

"No one has proven yet that numbers of followers translates to revenue," the 43-year-old "X-Men" star said. "They are not true supermodels. And the thing is, I have always looked to Vogue magazine to lead the way, not be a follower. I rely on Vogue to set the standard, not follow what everybody else is doing. So I have been disappointed that fashion magazines have been supporting this trend of social media stars to set our style standards."

After the post was published on ET, Rebecca took to Twitter to deny the comments she made about Hadid and Jenner (though she did retweet ET's post, along with People's coverage of the story earlier).

"hey @kendalljenner @gigihadid don't believe the #clickbait. Never talked smack about you. Both amazing & beautiful," she tweeted.

Interesting.

Despite Romijn's love-filled tweet toward the young models, Yolanda was quick to jump in, defending the girls.

Yolanda Hadid and Gigi Hadid attend the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After Party at TAO Downtown on Nov. 10, 2015 in New York City.

"Kind, hard working and they accomplished more at half your age in the fashion industry," the former model responded to Rebecca's tweet.

And when other Twitter users started talking smack, Hadid was quick to shut them down, too.

The lesson learned? Don't mess with KenGi.
