#Elbowgate Takes Off On Twitter After Trudeau's House Of Commons Incident

Weinergate. Assgate. Elbowgate.

Political scandals, once they're revealed, are now almost guaranteed to be bestowed a "-gate" suffix once they hit social media.

Justin Trudeau's blunder in the House of Commons Wednesday was no different. Shortly after he was accused of manhandling one MP and elbowing another, #Elbowgate was born and took off on Twitter.

Basically, it's a hashtag indexing people unimpressed with politicians:
