Let's call it the best reaction gif ever.
After DJ Calvin Harris went on a Twitter rant about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, Katy Perry put herself into the fray with an amazing meme involving presidential contender Hillary Clinton.
Harris started off by complimenting Swift for her songwriting abilities, calling her an "amazing lyric writer" and saying that she "smashed it as usual," after the "Shake It Off" songstress confirmed that she helped write and sing his new song "This Is What You Came For" under a pseudonym.
And she sings on a little bit of it too 🙃— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) July 13, 2016
Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual https://t.co/vW3yGOIJit
Unfortunately, he didn't stop there. Harris kept tweeting about his Grammy-winning ex, ranting about why Taylor all of a sudden wanted the world to know that she worked on the hit song.
I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) July 13, 2016
He also said Swift was trying to make him look bad for revealing that she wrote it.
Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though 🤔— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) July 13, 2016
Then he went after her new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston.
I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) July 13, 2016
And alluded to Swift's alleged feud with Perry.
I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) July 13, 2016
According to the tabloids, Swift and Perry have been feuding for a few years, which reportedly inspired Tay's hit song "Bad Blood." Back in 2014, the "Out of the Woods" singer told Rolling Stone that she was singing about a female artist who had done something "so horrible" to her, business-wise.
After the article was published, the "Dark Horse" singer wrote a cryptic tweet that said, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
Clearly, Perry hasn't gotten over it, because after Harris concluded his Twitter rant, she retweeted her own tweet from last May that said, "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
She also threw down the most incredible meme, starring Clinton.
We're waiting with bated breath for Taylor's response.
