It's official, folks.
Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt recently announced that the 2016 games will be his last Olympic run (or sprint, rather) during a press conference in Rio on Monday.
"I think this is the last one for sure—I've done enough. And I've proven myself over and over again," Bolt shared.
But despite the news, he definitely made sure to have some fun as he exited the stage, with a little help from some sultry samba dancers.
The runner has a total of 17 gold medals under his belt thus far—winning six overall at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic games, and 11 at the International Association of Athletics Federations World Championships, Cleveland.com reports.
And the vibrant superstar is determined to pick up a few more this year in Rio.

"I'm going to win the 100m," Bolt shared with CNN on Tuesday. "I never try to predict times, I avoid that because you never know. I'll win all three gold [medals], there's never anything else for me when it comes to a championship."
"I think I can definitely break the 200m world record and I definitely want to," he added.
"I said I wanted to go under 19 seconds and I don't know if that will be possible but nothing tried, nothing done, so I will go out there and push myself."
But despite calling it quits on future Olympic games, Bolt still plans on competing in the 2017 World Championships in London, according to Sports Illustrated.

The 21-year-old Scarborough, Ont. native will be competing against Bolt during the men's 4x100m relay, men's 200m and the men's 100m.
