Rain Couldn't Dampen Team Canada's Spirits At The Rio Closing Ceremony

Mittens in full effect!

A little Rio rain wasn't going to dampen spirits at the Rio Olympics closing ceremony.

While other athletes brought plastic-bag looking ponchos or were forced to weather the elements, Team Canada looked very cozy in their red rain jackets, hats and mittens. OK, maybe that last one isn't exactly the best thing to wear in the rain (it was a cool Rio winter night on Sunday).

Led in to the stadium by swimming champ Penny Oleksiak, the athletes shared plenty of moments from inside the closing ceremony. And after 16 days of intense competition there were plenty of very happy faces.

Say cheese!

Time to meet the locals

Mittens out!

Soak it all up
