While you were probably out celebrating Labour Day this long weekend, we were out celebrating the birth of the Queen B herself ... Beyoncé.
Yes, Bey rang in her 35th birthday on Monday and you bet she did it in style.
The "Hold Up" songstress threw a "Soul Train"-themed party in New York City a day after her birthday (Sept. 4) with all of her closest friends in attendance, including Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Yoncé's birthday outfit of choice was an interesting one that we're totally obsessed with. It included a colourful one-legged sequined pant and a matching top with a low-plunging neckline. She wore fishnet stockings and large hoop earrings to amp the look. Her blond hair was rocked in a half-up style that allowed for her bronzed makeup to be shown off beautifully.
At one point, four-year-old Blue Ivy got on the mic to wish her goddess-like mother a happy birthday.
But as much as we loved seeing Beyoncé shake it like Foxxy Cleopatra out on the dancefloor, it was the other party goers and their extravagant getups that had us catching disco fever, like Usher and Jay Z:

And Chance the Rapper, who freaked out when he saw Bey at the VMAs, finally got his photo with the queen.
